PhysioDirect are looking to hire a full or part time physiotherapist in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapist to join an integrated physiotherapy practice. You will be working in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of experienced therapists and doctors within an established Medical Centre. PhysioDirect have positions available for both part-time and full-time physiotherapists. We are looking for physiotherapists who are energetic, enthusiastic and skilled. They will have the opportunity to develop their manual/clinical reasoning skills, biomechanical, movement and functional gait analysis and professional development through a structured educational program.
 
Along with a varied busy client caseload, you will gain the experience and expertise of working within a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic Medical Centre with experienced and supportive practitioners. We work as a team and value each, individual staff member.

Salaries are competitive, structured and attractive. The physiotherapist will be encouraged and facilitated to develop their knowledge and skills. An annual continuing education allowance is available with a wealth of diverse training opportunities available both in house and elsewhere.

You will be:

  • Using your skills to treat, primarily, musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Planning specific treatment plans, interventions and rehabilitation according to your analyses and clinical reasoning
  • Communicating effectively, in all forms, including electronically
  • Collaborating closely with the client and all diverse members of the multi-disciplinary team
  • Working in a dynamic clinic setting with a busy case load
  • A member, in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
  • Able to demonstrate relevant insurance and a clear criminal and vulnerable sector check
